Translation -

"Cut of the higher grounds and fill up the lower
Treat both higher and lower grounds the same
To say that is a precious human behavior
Treat that with much respect"

This is a really great poem for the Sri Lankan Nation.

At that time too Sri Lanka was somewhat class conscious. Yet people when going to a battle, being class conscious is not going to help out in any means. They have to think like a nation, not a personals.

In this poem S. Mahinda Thero has tried to reduce the gap between the classes.
